Medicine through ages

Picture
A specialist day learning about the changing face of medicine from Ancient Greece to the great discoveries and innovations of the Victorian age

Through a series of workshops and artefact handling the class will learn about the advancement of health care and medical techniques through the ages.

These are topics that are invaluable to examine changes in society and how people of all classes lived.

The students will have an interactive and very real understanding of patient care from Classical times to the Victorians.

Medical and surgical equipment and artefacts will be safely used as part of the display workshop.
