The war to end all wars.

Allow Company Sergeant Major Morgan of the Hood Battalion, Royal Naval Division to tell you about life in the trenches and much more.

Using equipment and artefacts of the period, He will take you on a journey to build up a picture of this most terrible of wars.  From how and why the war started to its dramatic ending.

Learn about

Daily life in the trenches, the conditions, the food, the weapons and equipment used.

The war away from the Western Front. From Africa and the Middle East.

The home front and how the war changed the role of women in Britain.

The cenotaph and remembering the war.
